The young woman told ABC News she was stalked by an older man after being invited to a party.

“I was 16 years old and my parents were very supportive of me, I was really happy, it was a great party,” she said.

It is understood the victim was a high school student.

She says she has been “shocked” by the behaviour of some of the other young people who have made complaints against the person she claims is responsible.

A spokesperson for the Victorian Police said the woman has been interviewed and the investigation into the alleged incident is ongoing.
