One such case that has gone viral is that of an 11-year-old girl who was found dead at a carnival in the town of Kannadigiri in Kerala’s state of Kerala on September 29.
Her body was found by her mother who found her with severe injuries on the ground.
Kerala police have alleged that the girl was beaten by some carnival goers.
The girl’s family has now filed a complaint against those involved in the murder.
The police are currently investigating the case.
Another young woman, named Kavita, also died in the same carnival.
She was reportedly allegedly beaten by her father and beaten to death.
The incident is said to have happened in the city of Kozhikode, which is located close to the state capital Kannada.
According to reports, the girl’s father has been charged with murder.
According the police, the incident was first reported by a woman who was at the carnies with her mother.
She later went to the police station and reported the incident to them.
The complaint was filed on Monday and the police have arrested three people, including a resident of Kozhinagar, for the murder and attempted murder.
Police also confirmed that Kavitha’s body was dumped in a river in Kozhinagara.
The mother of the girl, who was allegedly beaten to murder her, has been arrested.
A police official told The Times Of India that the police would not release the names of the deceased because they are yet to reach a conclusion about the case and investigations are ongoing.
