Polaroid is set to launch a new line of digital cameras this year, with Canon and the Nikon brand making the jump from the $150 to $199 price points.
The announcement was made at the CES trade show in Las Vegas, with the Nikon and Canon cameras set to join the Polaroid line-up.
Polaroid will make it clear that the new digital cameras are not just for the tech-savvy, but also for those who need a photo-friendly and compact digital camera to take with them.
The new cameras will have an all-glass body, allowing for a larger field of view, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t take a photo with a Polaroid on your phone, tablet or computer.
The cameras will also come with built-in lenses that allow you to snap a quick picture with just a few taps, as well as an infrared light sensor.
The Polaroid cameras will be available in three colors: blue, yellow and orange.
Polaroids are also going to have a new mode for taking a selfie called the “Focal Point Snapshot,” which lets you take the photo with your own touch of your hand.
It’s also possible to take photos with the new camera using the built-on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
The first Polaroid digital camera will launch at the end of March.
